The Friends of Wisconsin State Parks is a dedicated network of nonprofit organizations committed to enhancing and preserving the natural beauty and recreational opportunities within Wisconsin’s state parks, forests, trails, and recreation areas. With over 50 local Friends Groups across the state, we invite you to join us in our mission to protect and promote these cherished spaces.
A Friends Group is a nonprofit organization that actively supports Wisconsin’s natural resources through volunteer efforts. These groups collaborate closely with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to deliver essential services and enhancements to state parks and recreational areas.
