Friends of Mirror Lake State Park at the 2008 FWSP Annual Awards Banquet.  The Friends accepted awards for Best Prairie Restoration, Best Fishing Area, and Best Area for Pet Lovers on behalf of the park.  Paul Zajackowski, park manager, accepted the Hero Award for Outstanding DNR Land Manager and Mary Melton, Friends member, accepted an award for her photo of the park that was used in the 2009 FWSP Calendar.
